Final Work

As said in the proposal, I would like to use this piece of art to demonstrate or promote, the harmonic relationship between humans and nature. Protecting the earth does not necessarily mean that we have to sacrifice anything but to find a way to balance. The person had all natural elements on his/her facial features, and the fan that covers half of the face contained a very calming portray of a red-crowned crane. 

"The crane has been one of the most loved birds in China since ancient times. It is seen as a symbol of noble character and represents longevity" ( online source)

Proposal: 

As for the social issue project, I would like to focus on the relationship between humans and nature. With all the technological development, people beginning to consider ourselves superior to other lives on this planet, and the earth itself. I want to use this project to remind people about appreciating and revering nature.
